THE MONK, THE TIGER AND THE STRAWBERRY
This project is based on an ancient Zen Buddhist parable. It is a story that illustrates the principle of living in the present moment and finding contentment amid uncertainty.
In the tale, a monk is chased by a tiger and finds himself hanging off a cliff. As he holds on for dear life, he notices a ripe strawberry growing nearby. Despite his precarious situation, he reaches out, picks the strawberry, and savours its sweetness, fully immersing himself in the simple joy of the moment. And that is the end of the story!
This humorous tale reminds us to embrace the present moment, finding beauty and satisfaction even in challenging circumstances. It teaches the importance of mindfulness and appreciating the small pleasures in life, regardless of the larger challenges we may face.
